How have we used them - brainstormed paper ideas and uploaded to wiki for writing week, linked to blog post, share methodology across projects, aggregate content, students use on course

Experience - often they don't take off, easy method of aggregation, lack synchronous collaboration, need focus, reluctance to edit other people's work, another place to go, lightweight, easy to set up, maybe lacks some of the social motivation in other tools

How they could influence our work - fewer meetings!, meeting papers, gather comments, reduce time in meetings, work openly/transparently, allow contributions to meetings from those who don't want to speak/can't be present, help us gather input from outside,
